DUNSLEY BUNGALOW

The bungalow with its two acres of land is an example of a "Home Fit For Heroes" which were created after the Great War: today we would call it a small holding. The land is owned by the county council. Here is the work group after some scrub clearance in the orchard.

Chris and Dennis taking out a stump with a bow saw: we prefer to use hand tools as they are not as noisy as power tools so create less disturbance to the local fauna.

Below are photographs of the hedge laying we started in October 2006.
